How does the valet parking process work at OR Tambo?
Drive directly to OR Tambo International Airport and enter Parkade 2 South. Proceed to Level 3, Block H (directly opposite the Departures terminal). Our uniformed representative will meet you curbside, conduct a digital pre-check of your vehicle, and securely drive it to our monitored compound in Bredell. Upon your return, simply call or WhatsApp us after landing—we deliver your clean car back to the same spot within minutes.
Where is your vehicle storage facility located?
Our private vehicle compound is located in Bredell, Kempton Park, approximately 13 km from OR Tambo International Airport. The facility features 24/7 CCTV surveillance, dual-zone electric perimeter fencing, armed response links, and floodlit bays.
Is my vehicle secure and insured while parked with you?
Yes. All vehicles are stored in our gated compound under 24/7 camera surveillance and armed guard response. In addition, all vehicles in transit between the airport and the compound are covered by our comprehensive motor trade transit liability insurance.
What if my return flight is delayed or rescheduled?
Our operations team monitors flights in real-time using live flight radar telemetry. If your flight is delayed or lands early, our dispatch schedule automatically adjusts. Just notify us when you touch down and we will have your freshly cleaned vehicle waiting curbside without penalty.
Is the return car wash really free?
Yes! Every valet parking reservation includes a complimentary exterior wash, dry, and interior vacuum before vehicle handover, ensuring your car is returned clean after your travels.
Do I need to leave my car keys with the driver?
Yes. We require your car keys so our professional drivers can transfer the vehicle to our secure off-airport compound, perform the complimentary wash, and deliver it back to Parkade 2 South upon your arrival.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept PayFast secure online payments (Visa, MasterCard, Instant EFT, Debit Cards), cashless mobile card payment upon vehicle collection, and 30-day corporate credit facilities for approved business accounts.
Do I have to book in advance or can I arrive unannounced?
Advance booking is strongly recommended to guarantee your bay and ensure immediate driver availability, especially during holidays and weekends. However, we also accommodate same-day emergency walk-ups when you call our 24/7 dispatch line on +27 84 778 8530 before arriving.
Are your drivers licensed and background-checked?
Yes, every Air-O-Airport Parking driver holds a valid South African Professional Driving Permit (PrDP), has passed rigorous criminal and driving history vetting, and wears high-visibility branded uniform with photo ID.
Where exactly do I meet the driver at OR Tambo?
The designated meeting point is inside Parkade 2 South, Level 3, Block H. This is directly connected to the pedestrian overhead bridge leading into the Domestic and International departure check-in counters.
